Plastering services
Specialists in all areas of plastering.
From a small patching job to a large renovation, in houses and in workplaces.
Domestic
- Skimming
- Dot and dab
- Float and skim
- Damp proofing
- Artex removal
- Coving installation
Commercial
- Office partitions
- False and suspended ceilings
- Overboards
- Timber treatments and flooring
- Dry lining
Walls and ceiling just skimmed, still drying.
Skimming
Skimming smooths and hides cosmetic damage to walls or ceilings, leaving a smooth, solid surface to paint or decorate. Surfaces that are dented, scratched or textured can benefit from it, as can drywall installations and repairs.
Float and skim
The traditional style of plastering. It works well to provide insulation within a room or building while giving a clean, smooth surface. It takes skill, experience and attention to detail.
Drywall installation
The quickest and most efficient route to smooth walls that look brand new. Installation is fast and professional, with all material and preparation work included in the price.
Damp proofing
A specialist service for mould, damp and condensation in the home. The aim is to deal with the cause, which in turn prevents further damage to your walls or ceilings.
Partitions and suspended ceilings
For businesses across Manchester, Warrington and the wider Cheshire area. The team is used to short deadlines and to working without disrupting your business. Partition walls can also be installed in homes, a cost-effective way to make more of your space.
And the jobs around the plastering
CMK can provide the other trade services a plastering job needs. If a radiator has to come off the wall and go back on once the plaster is done, or you want a false ceiling with new spot lights, the team can see it through from start to finish. Joinery too.
Our work
From bare brick to ready for paint.
The same stairwell, before and after. Old plaster off, back to the brick, then plastered to a flat, even finish.

How a quote works
No two walls are in the same state, which is why a real price needs a look. All quotes are given after an initial free site visit, to see the extent of the work and check measurements, so the pricing is honest and fair.
- All quotes are provided with no hidden costs, with all materials included.
- Quotes for plastering and damp proofing are free of charge.
- If you prefer, a rough estimate can be given from photographs and measurements.

Five recent reviews, shown exactly as each customer wrote them. One of them says Colin “leaves the room clean and tidy when finished”.
Colin does a fantastic job, great communication, was flexible working around my shift pattern, clear and upfront about the scope of the job and what's needed and leaves the room clean and tidy when finished, all for a fair price. He's plastered 3 of our rooms now during a renovation and I will be giving him a call again when the next one is ready. Would highly recommend
Had Colin round to do many jobs now and the experience has been great, his attention to detail is amazing. He lets you know exactly what’s needed explaining the full process and left the place tidier than it was when he started! Pricing was on point and he was happy to work around us, will be using him for any future work we require. Highly recommend.
Colin has done all of the plastering in our house and I cannot recommend him enough. He always does a super job for us. Very professional, very responsive and reasonably priced. 5*!
Colin has worked on several Rewires after me in the last year or so. Always finished to a high standard and turns up when he says he’s going to. Recommend him daily to people. Look forward to working with you on more projects 👍
Colin re-plastered our kitchen. Not only was it a fantastic job but his customer service was excellent 👍 explained how he was going to do it and did what he said he would. Gave professional advice. Without doubt would recommend him
